SEASHELL COTTAGE

Seashell Cottage is a pretty cottage in a quiet yard off Flowergate right in the centre of Whitby’s West side. The cottage has modern, well equipped accommodation on 3 floors. On Street parking is available only a few minutes walk away on the West Cliff and scratch cards are provided. The council long term car park by the Co-op is just  a few minutes away and you can buy long stay tickets. Offering clean, light and airy accommodation and with a very welcoming feel, this cottage should suit couples and families alike.

LITTLEMOOR BARN

This barn conversion is part of a couryard development in Cloughton, which is a small, friendly village between Scarborough and Whitby. Littlemoor Barn is a one-bedroomed cottage suitable for a couple. It has a private, off-road parking space and a private garden with seating. Inside, the cottage has an open plan lounge/kitchen/dining room with granite worktops and Smeg appliances. The oak flooring has underfloor heating.
The living area has a log burning stove and a leather sofa. The is a sliding/folding patio door which gives full access to the private garden. Upstairs is a bedroom with a king sized bed and plenty of storage space. The bedroom window gives a glimpse of the sea.
The cottage has full gas central heating which together with the log burner, make it warm and comfertable all year round.

CUDDY COTTAGE

Cuddy Cottage is a compact cottage, suitable for 2 people, it is positioned just off Church Street (which is the road that runs alongside the harbour and river on the old East side of Whitby). Converted from a Georgian wash house Cuddy Cottage is accessed through a communal yard. The cottage consists of a combined lounge/kitchen/diner with stairs up to a double bedroom with en-suite shower room. Outside is an outhouse with a washer/dryer and a tiny yard.

The cottage has been renovated to a very high standard. Downstairs has a ceramic tiled floor with under floor heating, a high spec kitchen with natural beech worktops and stainless steel appliances including a fan oven and a microwave. There is a plasma style wall mounted fire, a sofa and a fold-down dining table and chairs and a TV/video plus cd/radio. Upstairs is a full size double bed, a fitted wardrobe and an en-suite shower room with w.c. and basin.

THORNABY COTTAGE

Thornaby cottage is a modern cottage, set off Flowergate, right in the centre of Whitby. It has two bedrooms; one with a double bed and one with 2 single beds. There is a large lounge/dining room with plenty of comfortable seating and a flat screen TV. The kitchen is modern and well equipped and there is a family bathroom with toilet and basin.

Outside is a large sunny patio with seating and a private lock up garage is 3 minutes’ walk away. The cottage has full gas central heating plus a feature electric stove in the lounge. Up to two well begaved dogs are welcome and stay free.

Thornaby Cottage is right opposite Discovery Cottage and between them they can accommodate 6 people. Please ring us to check that they are both available.

WHITEHALL LANDING APARTMENT

This 2 bed roomed apartment is right on the river side with amazing dual aspect views across the river to the West side of Whitby and up the river to the Abbey.

Allocated parking for 1 car right outside the front door of the apartments.
Ground floor, no steps, level walk into Whitby centre- excellent accessibility. Ten minutes pleasant walk along the river side to the centre of Whitby. Pubs shops and eateries are just a few minutes walk away.

PERIWINKLE COTTAGE

New for 2015 and with lots of availability. Periwinkle Cottage is a pretty Geogian,stone fishermans cottage in a quiet yard just a couple of minutes from the harbour and from the pubs restaurants and shops of the town centre. The cottage has been thoroughly modernised and provides comfortable accommodation for 4 in its double and twin bedrooms. The beautifully furnished lounge/Dining /kitchen is great for a family holiday. The fixtures and fittings are all new and of good quality. The cottage has free WiFi and Sky Freesat. Unusually you have the use of the cellar for storage of bikes,fishing gear or pushchairs. The cottage is on Carrs Yard off Bagdale which is the road at the bottom of the museum gardens, which ends at the bus station. We will give you details of where to park. You are welcome to bring your one or two well behaved dogs at no charge. If you leave the cottage without your dogs you must leave them in the travel cage provided. Both a medium and a large size dog crate are provided and stored in the cellar.

QUAYSIDE COTTAGE

Quayside Cottage is an all en-suite cottage situated on Church Street opposite the river Esk with good harbour views from the front first floor window. This spacious Georgian stone cottage has been renovated to a high standard but still boasts period features such as cast iron fireplaces, polished wooden floors and stripped pine doors.

5 minutes level walk to the swing bridge in the centre of Whitby. 21 foot through lounge/diner with living flame fire and leather sofas. Well equipped modern fitted kitchen with washer/dryer. One double bedroom with en-suite shower, basin and WC. One twin bedded room with en-suite bathroom (bath with shower over, basin and WC).

ESKSIDE COTTAGE

Eskside cottage is a modern (1990’s) Terraced cottage on the river side at Ruswarp, 2 miles (or a pretty 20 minute riverside walk) from Whitby.
There is ample private parking for 2 cars outside the cottage. 3 steps lead up to the front door. Downstairs there is a large dining/lounge with tv and seating and a well equipped modern kitchen.
Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms, 2 double and 1 single, and also a family bathroom with an over bath shower. Outside of the cottage is an enclosed lawned garden. There is seating in the front and rear of the cottage so you can catch the sunshine.The cottage has full gas central heating and a feature screen type fire in the lounge. It is available, warm and comfortable all year round.

SEAGULL COTTAGE

Seagull Cottage is an eighteenth century fisherman’s cottage situated on Saltpanwell Steps, a stepped yard leading from Church Street to The Ropery. If you are not keen on steps you can access the cottage using Horse road, the inclined yard to the rear of the cottage which used to be the ancient route from the Abbey to the river and beyond.
The cottage is a double fronted end terrace cottage with an enclosed rear grassed garden and is our most popular cottage with dog owners.
We are happy to take more than one dog in this property subject to our conditions.

DISCOVERY COTTAGE

Discovery cottage is a modern cottage all on one level, right in the centre of Whitby. It has one bedroom with a zip link bed, which can be either a king size bed, or 2 2’6″ single beds. There is a large lounge/dining room with plenty of comfertable seating and a large flat screen TV. The kitchen is modern and well equipped, including a dishwasher and washer/dryer.

Outside is a balcony size outdoor area with seating, and a private lock up garage is 3 minutes’ walk away. The cottage has full gas central heating plus a feature electric stove in the lounge.

BOATYARD COTTAGE

Renovated but still retaining it’s character with stripped pine floors and doors, cast iron fireplace and some beamed ceilings. The cottage sleeps up to 6 and offers full gas central heating controlled by you, a hi-spec kitchen with solid beech worktops and integrated washer/dryer, dishwasher and large fridge/freezer and dining area for 6. The lounge has a real flame gas fire set in a period fireplace and 2 comfy leather sofas plus 32″ LCD TV with “Freeview” and a DVD player. All the bedrooms have comfortable good quality beds and as well as the Victorian style bathroom with roll topped bath and powerful separate shower there is a 1st floor cloakroom with basin and w.c. The panoramic views from the 1st floor lounge and the master bedroom cover the boatyard, harbour and marina as well as the West side of Whitby. Your well behaved dog is welcome and stays free. CHAIN BRIDGE COTTAGE

Completely refurbished for 2012, this cottage is very different to our other properties. It is set right on the riverside at Ruswarp, 4 miles from Whitby.

Chain Bridge Cottage is a detached 2 bedroomed property with amazing views up and down the river Esk. It has ample parking for 2 cars and a decked seating area where you can enjoy a meal or a drink while you watch the boats and birds on the river. Prices are from £395 to £795 per week inclusive.
