Seagull cottage is our most popular cottage with dog owners and we are happy to take two  or more well behaved dogs in this property subject to our conditions. Seagull Cottage is a Grade 2 listed, double fronted, end terraced, eighteenth century fisherman’s cottage situated on Saltpanwell Steps, on the old East (Abbey) side of Whitby. you can get from the cottage to the harbourside down the steps or you can use Horse road, the inclined yard to the rear of the cottage which used to be the ancient route from the Abbey to the river Esk and beyond.
Downstairs: Lobby through to lounge with leather sofas and open fire. Kitchen/Diner with solid beech worktops, cooker/hob and fridge. Modern (not steep) stairs up to large twin bedroom and family bathroom. stairs up to
Upstairs: double bedroom with large built in wardrobe and dormer window with views over to the moors.
Outside is a fully enclosed Level decking with seats and table and a barbeque. This is a suntrap with views down to the harbour and over West Whitby
Parking: Access to the cottage is via a residents only street. While you are staying you are a resident and you can park on the roadside.
